Over the course of my career working with industrial firms and high-growth companies, I’ve learned this: resilience and mindset are not just soft assets—they are essential drivers of business model innovation and long-term growth.They shape how people and organizations perceive information, make decisions, and act on opportunities. Too often, teams get lost in detail while leaders lose sight of the big picture. I’m not suggesting mindset is everything — but it is what enables emotional precision, strategic clarity, and faster, better decisions in complexity.
I’m Birgit Linnamäe — a strategist, advisor, and former elite athlete with over 25 years of leadership experience in international business development, industry, and export growth. The discipline, focus, and stamina I honed in competitive sport remain core to how I lead, coach, and build.Educated in Estonia and Italy, I hold a Master’s degree (cum laude) in Economics and Strategic Management from the University of Tartu. I’m currently completing my PhD at Estonian Business School, where I research global value chains, institutions, and innovation. I’ve presented my work internationally — including at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
I speak 11 languages and have lived and worked in Germany, Italy, the UK, and Estonia, with strong collaborations across Europe, the U.S., and Southeast Asia. I’ve built and scaled companies from the ground up — from launching a German-backed timber business into 14 export markets to turning KODA by Kodasema, a modular housing solution, into a globally recognized brand.
My consulting work bridges executive-level industrial insight with emotional intelligence and systems thinking. I help leaders navigate change, align teams, and unlock hidden value — connecting strategy with purpose, and people with results.
